Jim & Kathy Brede

Jim and Kathy Brede began camping with TNSS shortly after getting a Solaire travel trailer in the Spring of 2015. We have been RVing since 2008 taking numerous trips around Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Arkansas. Our longest RV trip was to Washington, DC.

We grew up in Pittsburgh where we met in high school. After getting married, we lived in Michigan, New Jersey, Delaware, Illinois, and West Virginia before moving to Texas in 1998.

Jim and Kathy are both retired teachers; Kathy taught elementary students at various grade levels and Jim taught high school chemistry. Before teaching, Jim was an Environmental Health & Safety leader for General Electric for 23 years.

The Brede's have 3 daughters, 3 granddaughters, and one grandson. Their daughters live in Friendswood, TX, Washington, DC, and Silver Springs, MD.

In addition to volunteering at church, Kathy helps with CCA food pantry, Kids Eat Free, Back To School, and CCA Christmas store as well as delivering Meals on Wheels. Both Jim and Kathy are members of the Denton County Emergency Response Team.
