Peggy & Stanley Tanner
Stanley and Peggy Tanner are veteran campers and native Texans.
They began camping in a tent when their son was 4 or 5 years old. (At the time of this writing, he is 34.)
In 1983, they graduated from a tent to a Huntsman 11' slide in truck camper on a Chevrolet Pickup. After the pickup died, they wore out two popup trailers (a Puma and a Starcraft). The last popup had to tied up with ropes to be drug in to be scrapped.
For many years, Stanley served as a Boy Scout leader and trainer where he also earned his Wood Badge.
Along the way, they became Charter Life members of the Good Sam Club.
They have camped in 15 states. Their favorite state to visit is Colorado. Their most visited state is Arkansas.
In 2010 they purchased a new Salem Cruse Lite trailer and a new Titan tow vehicle.
Peggy enjoys reading, sewing and cooking. She also makes latch hook rugs.
Stanley tries his hand at woodworking but admits he mostly makes saw dust.
